The entire globe will assemble to #work out a formula to reduce global emissions in two weeks timeframes by setting rules and procedures for implementation of the Paris Agreement 2015 which was COP21.
The stumbling block which needs to be solved is the demand of developing nations where they insist that their accumulated carbon credit over the years remain valid in the new market.
Annual climate change meetings are part of the United Nations backed process which was initiated in 1990. It started when #climatechange was considered an important agenda because greenhouse gas emissions were powering a rise in temperature.
There will be strong negotiations. More than 50 countries have already pledged carbon neutrality by either 2050 or 2060 including almost all the developed countries.
Let us see how Glasgow will fulfill the broken promises of the previous COP. It may be equally possible that the demand for net-zero emissions for the countries will be discussed and resolved amicably.
