Biofuels have emerged as a great growth area because 20% sugar is now getting converted in to Bioethanol as per the latest policy of Government of India.
In Japan there are Japanese banks which are funding biofuels project like Sumoto bank
Nanto bank, Joyo bank and bank of Yokohama.
International funding agency Asian development bank or ADB has approved $2.5 million funds for the advanced biofuels development.
There are also grants funded by Government of Japan under clean energy financing partnerships facilities.
